A Story About My Uncle coming to Steam

Coffee Stain Studios is lending a hand to Gone North Games in order to help them both finish, and publish, A Story About My Uncle on Steam in 2013.

The game is a non-violent FPS platform adventure about a boy searching for his lost uncle through an unimaginable world. The demo released in 2012 to much acclaim, and the gameplay utilizes a grappling hook mechanic that allows you to soar quickly through the cavernous environments. Though it started as a university project, A Story About My Uncle was soon nominated for a Game of the Year Award at the 2012 Swedish Game Awards.

Armin Ibrisagic, Game Designer & PR Manager at Coffee Stain Studios said, “Coffee Stain Studios is primarily a developer, not a publisher. Other indie devs have approached us before, but we’ve been hard to convince. However, once we got a chance to play a demo of A Story About My Uncle, we were hooked. We just HAD to help these guys finish the development and publish the game on Steam.”
