GOG now supports Windows 8

GOG, the digital distributor that specializes in DRM free “legendary fun at legendary prices”, announced via a press release that they now support Windows 8. Even though they are supporting Microsoft’s new OS not all of their titles will. Currently only 430 titles support Windows 8, but more games are promised to be on the way.

“The majority of games that we support for Windows 7 work on Microsoft’s new OS already,” said Guillaume Rambourg, managing director of GOG.com, “but we’ve also put hard work into updating many of the titles that may be harder to get running under the new Windows as well.”

As someone who both loves GOG and runs Windows 8 I am happy to hear that they will be supporting Microsoft’s new OS, which seems to be hated on by a lot of industry greats.
