MechWarrior Online ‘Camo Spec’ Patch Now Live

Infinite Game Publishing and Piranha Games have just pushed out a new patch for their Mech simulator, MechWarrior Online. The patch is titled Cameo Spec, and will allow you to customize your Mech in various ways that were not available before.

The new patch will allow you to paint your Mech in different colors, and it will also allow you to customize the interior of your home away from home aka the Mech. The things that you can customize your cockpit with include “the beloved Hula Girl, colorful faction banners and other fun items.” You can decorate your interior with up to 3 items (hanging, standing or mounted), and they can be either earned or purchased, depending on the item.

“Camo Spec brings to life a very important part of the BattleTech universe,” said Bryan Ekman. “With this new addition I’m excited to see a real evolution towards defining your own MechWarrior persona and bringing to life the richness of the past, present and future MechWarrior Online heroes.”

This new patch will also bring back the original voice of “Bitching Betty”, the official female cockpit voiceover from the original MechWarrior games. To learn more about the game you can visit the website by clicking here
