Wii U Firmware Updated

Nintendo has released a firmware update for the Wii U console.  Weighing in at 593MB the update addresses stability and overall performance of the Wii U operating system. The update does not bring any new features with it.

Reports suggest that general loading times have been improved, specifically applications within the Wii U OS. Unfortunately, the update  can take some time to download, with some users reporting up to a two hour wait.

The update is available now to all Internet connected Wii U users.
